Nochex - Secure payments with your debit/credit card

At the moment we accept the following (UK ONLY!) Debit/Credit cards: Visa (Debit/Credit/Electron), Mastercard, Maestro, Switch and Solo.

This site uses Nochex. This means that you can make 3D Secure payments with your debit or credit card (provided your card issuer supports 3D Secure). 3D Secure means that you use the most up-to-date methods developed by Mastercard or Visa to protect you from Credit card fraud or identity theft. Mastercard offers the "Mastercard Securecode" scheme, and Visa called their scheme "Verified by Visa"; both of these schemes involve the card holder registering their card and choosing a password which has to be used when making a transaction. It basically works in the same way as your PIN when you make a purchase for instance a restaurant or shop. At the moment not everybody provides this facility, so if your card is 3D Secure, you may not always need to provide a password when making payments online, but you may choose to shop only with sites that offer this extra bit of protection. Because the password is verified directly on the secure site provided by your card issuer, your password is not known to anyone but you. This means that it will be increasingly hard for fraudsters to use your credit card for unauthorised purchases.

Paying with PayPal

If you prefer, you can also pay for your order with PayPal. PayPal and Nochex work in the same manner. We collect all information necessary for your delivery, and in order to make the payment, you are forwarded to the PayPal website. Then you can choose to pay by card, or with your PayPal account.

When you make a purchase with us, we never get to see your card details, because they are handled on a secure server, separate from our site. This means that money cannot be taken from your card, unless you make the payment yourself after your purchase.
